America’s Cup Trophy visits Portugal for First Time
WHAT:
The 34th edition of the America’s Cup, the competition for the oldest trophy in international sport, opens in Cascais, Portugal with the inaugural America’s Cup World Series.
The America’s Cup trophy will make its first-ever visit to Portugal and will be presented at the press conference.
WHO:
The nine competing skippers including defending champions James Spithill and Russell Coutts of ORACLE Racing.
Mayor of Cascais Carlos Carreiras will formally open the event and welcome the international teams.
WHEN:
Thursday 4th August at 11am Local Time (GMT +1)
