The Nicos – Nico delle Karth and Nikolaus Leopold Resch of Austria sailed a 4-3-2-1 to take the lead and break the 3-way tie from yesterday. Their finishes were almost matched by Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes of Great Britain who have moved into second, but are counting their first race today of a 12th as their discard.
The Sibello brothers of Italy had a tough day on the course dropping them to 4th overall followed by Manu Dyan and Stephanie Christidis of France who also fell – to stand in 5th.
Racing continues for the qualification series tomorrow with the finals to begin on July 8.
