Thomas Ruyant the solo breakaway?
We know it, we are certain of it but the hallucinating Doldrums always surprises us… It creates and destroys, grows and retains, assembles and disassembles according to his craziness, its desires. In this incomprehensible mess, you need a fine amount of wisdom or fatalism not to despair and go to bed, if bed is the word we can use for a bunk.
Winning options?
Between Francisco Lobato (ROFF TMN) and Bertrand Delesne (Entreprendre Durablement) the most "East" of the fleet and 8th, there are 275 km. Delesne is also 101 km further East than Thomas Ruyant (Faber France) the leader for prototypes. Lots of different weather s conditions, even if… Thomas seems to have found the pressure... and the good one. He surfs at around 7 knots in the right direction and his way is clean and pure, a nice straight line! It seems that the man found the South flow as François Cuinet that follows him. Did the flow is in the middle of the water? Do those that chose the East and West options remain desperately trapped in no wind areas?
